The Week That Was, Weeks That Test Us All

What a week it has been locally and globally. Monday morning a school bus crashes that takes the lives of six kids and injures more. Then on Friday there is a shooting at a shopping mall. In between is Thanksgiving. In the national news former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and actors Florence Henderson and Ron Glass pass away. Of course there is political news being made as America awaits a new president.

For me at work I was tested in the response to the bus crash I mentioned earlier. I work for a blood bank that helped supply blood to those kids injured. My team passed that test I feel.

Weeks like this should only happen every once and awhile. There was too much going on in the universe in my opinion. I am sure there are plenty of things that were happening I missed too. You know the more we go through things like this the tougher we become. Rising to the challenges of life can give us experience we need to make it in the world today.

Our upcoming week I am sure will have its own set of things happening. All I know is that 2016 will go down in history as one that we will never forget.
