After church this afternoon we swung by a new bakery in the Chattanooga suburb of Red Bank. This bakery has been in the works for a few months and this is their opening weekend. Bread and Butter Bakery decided to do a “soft opening” so they didn’t have the widest range of offerings but what they had today looked pretty tasty. Featured items today were scones, brownies, baguette, cookies, seasoned loaves along with some locally sourced cheeses and butter. I am excited to see what they will do in the future.
This building once was home to a Baskin Robbins 31 Ice Cream shop that some friends of mine operated for years. It’s nice to see something good going into it.
was it good?

It was good. Before their store opening they did some area farmers markets and we got bread from them before. It was good stuff.

Fantastic! Who can resist a bakery? I hope they will be very successful and that you will share photos of your purchases with us!

The place looks cosy and their products make my mouth water. If it tasted as good as it looks, maybe it’s a good thing (for my belly) I don’t have a Bread & Butter Bakery nearby!
