From IMDB – An animated retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions.
This is a terrific movie with amazing animation and the great talent of Jim Carrey, Colin Firth and Gary Oldman. It is a must see every holiday season. There is a lot of similarities between the era of this story and modern day. We all know an Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley and Bob Cratchit in real life and hopefully their hearts and minds have been softened by the spirit of Christmas past, present and future. There is much universal truths for everyone in this classic Charles Dickens story.
I don’t usually watch the Scrooge stories, but I’ll give Jum Carey a try. However I think his version of the Grinch was horrible. Give me the old cartoon version. Or better yet the book.

Agree! Definitely a must-see over a holiday season! I watch it in home in 3D – this is something out of this world!
