Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke had one of those legendary screen romances that inspired a generation. We say farewell to Mary who played Laura Petrie in the Dick Van Dyke Show and later starred in her own show The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Thanks for creating classic TV memories.

  1. I truly grew up watching Mary Tyler Moore. I was young when the Dick Van Dyke show was on but I remember how he was so slapstick (one scene where he went over a foot stool) and “Laura” was the devoted and more level-headed wife. And the Mary Tyler Moor show (and it’s THREE spin-offs) was groundbreaking on so many levels. She will be missed.
