Congratulations Always Dreaming, Winner of 143rd #KentuckyDerby

Today was Derby day and Always Dreaming won the run for the roses in Louisville, Kentucky at Churchill Downs.

  1. I can’t believe I slept through the Derby! But of course, I did just have abdominal surgery and got out of the hospital a few hours before the race! I always watched the triple crown races with my Dad and in the last 5 years since he passed, I still feel he is with me watching! I think he would understand as well. Thanks, Tony, for posting the link to the race. I at least got to see it, if not live. A couple of Always Dreaming’s relatives are from the track here. I should ask my brother-in-law, who is now retired but was a farrier there if he knew them.
