A Encounter With Modern Christian Music This Morning

I was in a convenience store this morning and they had contemporary Christian music playing over the store sound system. I found myself with a bad taste in my mouth. What does that say about me?

I believe sharing God’s love but that’s one way I would not do it. Misch of the music is repetitive and lacks some theological depth.

I’m probably too old school in worship and music these days being an Episcopalian where we take a more sober approach to worship and outreach.

  1. I’m all for connecting and reaching others with various styles/categories of Christian music, but I do have my preferences. I understand.
