First, to all the newbies who are following along I say welcome and I hope you enjoy what you are seeing. I am a proud nerd and you will get a lot of nerdy/geeky/dorky stuff like that here. I appreciate you tagging along. I am so not cool.
I took today off to care for an ailing dog who seems to be on the mend. While at home I did some chores and installed a new operating system on my computer.

I embrace your comments about neediness and not being cool (not about you, but about me). The way I say it, which is in itself quite revealingly nerdy, is: “I’m not hip.” Good for you, good for me, good for us!

Really hope puppy dog is truly on the mend now! You saying that you’re so not cool automatically makes you cool (because I say that too, and I’m not cool, so we can be in the not-cool-so-cool club).
