There was an old movie this reminds me of..I don’t remember much. It was about a famous movie guru who faked his death to live as a prisoner. He did this because he wanted to make a movie that would make people cry. While in prison, he and his fellow inmates attended a cartoon movie with the townspeople. It was a comedy and as he surveyed the laughing crowd of mixed individuals, he realised something. Laughter is stronger than tears. Of course, Disney sort of made that exact idea into a gold mine, later, with Monsters, Inc.
