I Stand With Elephants…No To Trophy Hunting

The Trump administration announced Wednesday that the remains of elephants legally hunted in Zimbabwe and Zambia can now be imported to the United States as trophies, reversing a ban under former president Barack Obama – From The Washington Post

I think this is a horrible idea and will harm efforts to protect these majestic creatures. Trophy hunting is kind of a narcissistic exercise that has wiped out species of animals over the years. Especially when it comes to elephants and giraffes who seek to harm no one. Hunting for survival is one thing but killing an animal for sport is wrong.

  1. If the elephant did not have horns he would be better off. They even made tables out of their feet. Butchery and corrupts the word human. No excuse to kill these animals. If we are truly God like and made in his image, would he or she be pleased on how we handle the creatures of the earth?
