It’s crazy at my age I worry about being liked. Somehow I need to get over that and just be me and bless the world with that. Pleasing people is part of that. Being myself is important and I want to do that and hope people get it.

What M said, Tony, besides, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting to be liked. I like being appreciated too, heck, I think we all do! Anyway, I think you’re genuine and a really nice guy. Just continue being who you are, because we like you just the way you are. If more people were that real I believe the world would be a much better place. :O)

I enjoy getting ‘likes’ too and as a person, being liked. But sometimes I cannot be ‘liked’ by everyone and I have to accept that. Sigh!

Been there, done that. I’m definitely a people-pleaser. But, I also accept that there are people who don’t like me, and I don’t let that bother me, not anymore. Great post!
