Holocaust Remembrance Day

Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom Hashoah. We remember the 6 million Jews killed and the millions of others who perished during the Holocaust. The awareness and understanding of this horrific tragedy is waning as time goes by but its something we must keep in our minds lest it happens again.

  1. Thank you! I work with an Interfaith group in my local community and today at our Coordinating Council meeting one of the members who is a member of the Jewish community asked to read a prayer. What followed was deeply moving — a prayer and a personal reflection on a Holocaust memorial to be built in our neighborhood…
