This past weekend was a really busy one so Monday is actually a day of recovery and work. On Saturday I helped my sister move out of town and my high school reunion was the same evening. I’m tired but hope to perk up by the end of the day.

Reunion means reconnecting with those who you share a common experience with. It’s good to remember the times of the past that helped form who you would become later in life. A high school reunion is one of those occasions where we can catch up with our friends from the past and hopefully share with honesty how our lives are in the moment. Our lives are made more complete with times of reunion and home coming. I salute the class of 1988 of Red Bank High School for their part in making me, me. Go Lions then, now, always.

Today is the debut of the 13th Doctor in the long-running science fiction show “Doctor Who’ Jodie Whittaker assumes the role as the first woman to do so. Every time there is a new person playing this iconic role we wonder what they will be like and what they will do. I believe with Whittaker who is a great actress she will make The Doctor her own and treat the role and the institution with reverence and respect. She will be brilliant!
