America was at its finest when we aimed for the stars in a previous generation. We were inspired to use our brains to achieve a goal of going to the Moon. Rockets were used for peaceful purposes of exploration. Science and a little bit of faith got us past Earth’s atmosphere into a whole new world where we would sail upon celestial seas.
Today my iron rebounded so I could donate blood at work. Yea! I was going to wait until Monday but on a whim I decided to give it a go today. Amazing what 24 hours will do.

Apollo Eleven landed on The Moon forty-nine years ago. Three brave Astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins were the first crew to go there. It was one of the greatest achievements in the history of the world. All of this was done in a tough time for America as well.
Technology then wasn’t as good as it is now but a lot of smart, driven people came together to make it happen. It has been awhile since we have been there, maybe another visit would be good.
Even though I had Monday off I am still very glad it’s Friday. It’s been a hard week for various reasons. Thank goodness the end of the week is here and the weekend is upon many of us. Have a great Friday everyone!
