  1. Did you compare your returns to see if you actually ended up having a higher tax liability this year than last year? It’s generally considered a good thing if you end the year less than $200 off either way because that means the government didn’t get to hold on to your money interest free. We ended up with a lower tax liability this year than last year which for us is a win.
