Remembering D-Day, 75 Years Ago

On June 6, 1944, more than 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline, to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France. Many lost their lives this day but those who survived went on liberate Europe and to help win World War II.

  1. It’s so sad. I have lost many family members in war in these recent years. May all those who lost their lives finally rest in peace
