Every year on June 14th countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day. The event, established in 2004, serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products, and to thank blood donors for their voluntary, life-saving gifts of blood.
If you can donate blood it’s a great way to be a true hero where you live.
I wish I could donate, I always used to when I could. It’s such a wonderful thing to be able to do, and blood, as you know so very well yourself Tony, is vital. Great post to raise awareness and remind/encourage people to get involved! xx
