Some things are too damn loud even when the volume is turned down. It rattles the ears and invades the senses. You have to change the channel or turn everything off for some peace and quiet. The world of everything is like this these days. Where’s my remote control or my smartphone?

Even cars driving by will have the thump, thump, thump of the base notes from their radios rattling the windows.
