Early this morning water service was restored after our day-long water outage in most of Chattanooga. Water is a necessity and without it life can be very challenging if not impossible. It’s good that basic things like cooking, laundry, brushing teeth and other things are possible again. Thanks to Tennessee American Water our water service utility for their hard work in getting things flowing again.
You are one of the rare people who appreciate the everyday workings of a city. Cool beans😄

This is something worth blogging about. A water outage has a serious impact on the lives of others too.

You only were without water for one day and the shelves were stripped of water at the store? Wow, people freaked out!

Yeah, people went nuts a little. Of course there was a concern about being without water for more than a day as speculated earlier in the event.

Hello Tony. Living in Florida with our hurricane season we are use to storing water. I feel so much for the people in Flint who have not had drinkable water for years, and other places were the government seems not to care that the water coming out of the tap can be ignited and keeps burning. Hugs
