To make my Facebook hiatus more official, I deactivated my account. At some point, I will return to it but that will be a while. It feels good to do so. Farewell Facebook.

I’d delete mine, but unfortunately the only way to chat to some people is via messenger. But it does equally feel good to deactivate. I don’t miss it.

Telegram, Signal are two apps not associated with facebook (like WhatsApp) which are free to sign up for. Just tell one person at a time. 🙂

Not worth it, I don’t chat often

I’m rarely on fb. Email is how I chat with people in faraway lands. 🙂 And those other apps I mentioned.

I’m also deactivated on FB. I pop on 1x a yr, see what’s new and discover that it’s the same shit, different time. 🤷🏻♀️🤪

I did this last new year and it’s been so liberating! My blog took a big of a knock as I had a few people who followed my updates on there. I do sometimes consider going back to it just for the sake of my blog. But mostly, I think I’m much happier without it ✨

I am needing a clean break from it because I find it’s hard to be myself there.

I like this! I have a business page on FB that I am just in the process of deleting and deactivating and unpublishing! It is a relief.

I have too many people I communicate with there. It is a great tool for many things, it is also not all that necessary! Deleting would be difficult, I have a lot of photos on there in an organised fashion that I’d have to look for to find in my not quite as organised computer photo folders!!!
