My mom gave this Sony DSLR camera that belonged to my dad after he passed away. I will be hopefully taking my creativity to the next level. Over the next few weeks, I will be posting some Wordless Wednesday’s featuring pictures my dad took with this camera. Also, I will be taking my own pictures and posting them.
It’s going to be a great deal of fun to have a creative workflow involving this camera along with my Google Pixel 3a. Windows 10 has some applications already on board so I can import and edit pictures from this camera. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do video so I will try to find a solution to that so I can get into that a little.

What is the model of this camera, and what do you mean it does not record video?

Some DSLR cameras made in the past few years can record video and audio. It is an A200.

Ah, I see, this specific model does not indeed take videos. It is a surprise to me, because I had the impression that DSLR’s can take photos and videos. I also got a camera that is a few years old – a superzoom one, and while it can take videos, the video and audio quality does not hold a candle to the current smart phones.
Have fun with your toy, and when you have the chance, try taking photos outside of the automatic mode. It is challenging, but it will be an educational experience.
