I find myself wanting to be in the company of like minded kindred spirits. That doesn’t mean I’m not willing to be friendly with those I have a disagreement with. Keeping my life free of a lot of conflict is what I am seeking these days. Maybe I don’t have the emotional capital to invest in arguing and that sort of thing. I guess if it means me being narrow minded for a peace of mind then yeah.

I think you’re very open-minded, maybe you are just having arguments with more close-minded people. I don’t blame you on not wanting to argue, especially if it’s with someone who clearly won’t budge either way
