Our state has mandated no entry to any stores without a mask and they’re taking it pretty seriously. The masks are uncomfortable but I understand the necessity.
I do however predict as we head into summer and hit the 95 degree mark, I won’t be going out much. I like breathing too much and it’s hard in those masks, especially with panic attacks hitting because I can’t breathe easily.
Okay by me, staying home when possible makes me feel safer for myself and my kid as well as for others.
I hope people in your state wise up soon and don masks, they’re important if only for peace of mind.
I know that feeling! I wear a mask when ever I vacuum now. It gets suffocating, but after watching my Grandfather die from emphysema. I get a little paranoid, just vacuuming with all the little particles. But it does get warm very quickly!
My mask has a riff on the old Disturbed song and says, “Not down with the sickness.” Spook’s has a cat face on it. We can ward off the plague and still have a sense of humor.
I get so scared when I see people roaming around without masks. What is so difficult to understand in this precaution I just can’t understand.
Hopes for a better future! 🌸

It was the same at Tarjay when I went to get a drive-up order. Masks were the definite rarity.

Good example to set, sir.
