Hydrangeas are some of the prettiest flowers you can plant for your home. They seem to be like fireworks when they are blooming. It seems this years has a blue focus while some years are blue and pink. I hope this picture will give you some comfort in these days.

Hello Tony. Very pretty. I use to grow them, but to get the red colors I would put a nail or two in the soil when I planted them. Hugs

You can determine the color by the type of soil acid soil should give you pink, you can have blue by an alkaline soil.

Hydrangeas are the only thing we grow at our house. We have clay-like soil and full sun. Everything else dies. Hydrangeas are pretty and hearty!

Our friends have some in their garden and they bring them over. They are so big and pretty!

My first hydrangea was eaten by slugs, so I haven’t gotten any since! They are a lovely bush.
