  1. I remember once, during a really hot summer here. I was walking to the shops and back again. I realised there was not a single tree around to hide under with some shade. In Australia! In South Australia. We’re in one of the hottest and driest countries, and there were no trees around for a 15 minute walk! I know that’s not what the saying is saying, but it just reminded me of that. There should be trees everywhere!
