Hello, my British friends! I am trying something new for me for lunch today and that’s beans on toast. Am I doing this right? It is tasty and might be good for me. I am also using the Heinz Beanz from the UK so it’s a proper dish.

Excellent! This is my lockdown standby, though I always understood Americans had reservations about our tinned beans.

Definitely. Although if you want to make it even better, my advice would be to grill some cheese on the toast and then smother it with the baked beans. It’s proper comfort food.

Looks right to me, Tony! Unfortunately I can’t stand beans, but they’re popular here in the UK. I love toast though!
Enjoy! x

I eat beans on toast at least once a week for a quick easy supper and I make a salad to go with it. I prefer the beans with pork in molasses sauce not the tomato sauce and I put shredded cheddar on top.
Very tasty and filling. It’s comfort food for me.
