I wish they would cancel soap operas. My grandmother, my uncle, and my mother watched them. I watched them until I was 17 and then I stopped watching them when Young and the Restless had new writers. I remember old women asking churches to pray for the characters of the soap operas. I always said that wouldn’t be me. Even mentally ill people copy what they see on soap operas.
