Humanity is in crisis and the price of a gallon of gas ideally shouldn’t be getting totally upset about. People are trying to survive moment to moment. Let’s chill out and be helpful in the situations people find themselves in.

People aren’t willing to jeopardize their commodity, unfortunately. I say cut the gas and heating, and cut oil. We would survive even if we had to walk to work and wear more clothing.
Besides, being dependable on one country for obsolete fuels in 21st century is crazy. Maybe this is a much-needed wake-up call to invest more in other, more cleaner, sources of energy. One, it will be better for our planet; two, it will stop financing a war.
Anyway, I agree with you, let’s try and be as helpful as we can and chill out about stuff that are not that important when compared to human lives.

too bad there are too many people living pay day to pay day and they can’t afford hits like these to their budgets.

I agree with this too. The oil companies make record profits and they can lower the price of gas.
