Hello June, Important Things Are Happening – #EndAlz #PRIDE

June is an important month for some very important causes.

Alzheimer’s is a devastating disease that takes the lives of our family and friends. Important people in my life have suffered from it. Until there is a cure there must be the support of patients and caregivers. Awareness is key here.

June is Pride month where the contributions and lives of the LGBTQ community are celebrated and highlighted. I am a supporter of those good people who is just wanting to live, love, and support their families and to just live freely.

  1. Alzheimers – one of my aunts died from it. My mother in law had dementia, possibly from a suspected series of mini strokes in her last months. I had known her for over 50 years and the day she didn’t remember who I was was heartbreaking but not unexpected. Pride Month – I have a cousin who is part of the LBGTQ community. I have worked with gay people at my various jobs. They are people. They deserve what any human deserves – the freedom to live without fear. Alana ramblinwitham
