Everyone has opinions and they come from a very personal place. I have come to the realization that trying to debate them is not always a good thing. We all have core values and then some fringe issues that aren’t always worth the conflict. I admit I am hyper-sensitive and have thin skin that gets me in trouble. Getting along is important but we have to be ourselves, whoever that might be and whatever opinions we might have.

Sometimes, a lot of times, these days really. You cannot debate someone’s opinion. Especially when you bring up the facts and truths of their opinion.

to be honest, there was a time where people could agree to disagree. That time is unfortunately now gone. There is more polarization than ever and I honestly fear it is getting worse.
