I am not a pro-America first person. I am a pro-humanity person. When our common global humanity is maintained and defended then everyone benefits. Yes, I am a citizen of The United States but I reject patriotism that harms and strips the rights of people who seek life, liberty, and happiness. What we have seen in recent years with people who have suffered and been subject to violence is something that no country should permit.
Our humanity is important, it’s universal, it’s essential.
