Every person has the freedom to call out wrongs about their country. It’s called free speech. It’s also called patriotism to be sure everyone in their country has basics like freedom, life, liberty, happiness, and justice. If one confuses this with hate then that’s their problem.

Very good point. Perhaps the biggest problem with many is that the freedom of speech muddled by a person’s differences of opinions. Everyone is entitled to it, yet one can’t shut down another’s view point / opinion just because you don’t like it or disagree with it. Everyone has differences of opinions on a lot of topics and not everyone agrees with your personal preferences. Yet, accepting your opinion and discrediting everyone else who disagrees with yours, is the heart of the today’s problem. It’s like art….a person can look at painting and find beauty in it, while another can be repulsed by it. Who are we to say what is the “gold standard” of that painting because of everyone has a different opinion on it. Denying or discrediting a person’s freedom of speech is a serious problem.
