Today the NFL’s championship game, Super Bowl LVII (57) will be played in Glendale, Arizona. Philadelphia Eagles will take on Kansas City, Chiefs in a game that has become a cultural event for many in the United States and some around the world. This will be the first Super Bowl where two African-American quarterbacks will be in the starting lineups. I will be cheering for Philadelphia because I know more people who will be supporting the Eagles. I hope for a good game and a great half-time show performed by Rhiannon.
Let’s hope it’s as good as it’s billed. Definitely the best two teams going for it.

Read an article about AZ and the Superbowl and was surprised to learn the state almost didn’t have a part of one. It was during the 90’s. Fascinating story.
