Lots of people are struggling right now. It’s a matter of livelihoods, health care, hunger, affording stuff, and more. I don’t have an answer for it all. But I will say that in a prosperous country like the United States, none of this should be happening.
So many are paycheck to paycheck, and some aren’t even getting that. Life is hard for so many and having empathy, sympathy, and compassion are what can help. However, people are going hungry. Some face losing the roof over their heads. Getting seriously sick could bankrupt many. There needs to be a solution and fast.
Personally, I don’t think some in our government are equipped to do that. They are distracted on other things. So, I suppose we have to hang in there and do the best we can. Let’s hope for brighter days to come, and soon.

I have a lot of the same thoughts. And actually, our government IS equipped to help. It chooses not to. We literally took aid away from foreign countries and those people are starving and sick. We are spending so much on the department of defense and military conflicts that it will make you sick if you find out the number. They CAN do something, but they choose to take away SNAP and shut down instead. I feel like this is deliberate, and that is even worse. We the People have to step up and help each other get through this.
