If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be and why?
I have been a caregiver to my wife, who had emergency surgery in April to clear a severe infection that could have been fatal. Part of that caregiving is wound care. I received a crash course in taking care of her significant surgical wounds before she left her rehabilitation hospital on May 9th. Since then I have practiced the art of applying gauze, pads, creams, saline, and other things to help her heal. So in a sense I have mastered that skill as much as an amateur nurse can.

It’s always a useful skill to have. I spent some time treating my own at the start of the year. Often I m,anage fine, but this time it all went wrong. That’s why I appreciate people with training! 🙂
