Happy Passover To My Jewish Friends and Followers #passover #pesach

Passover or Pesach, is a major, biblically derived Jewish holiday. Jews celebrate Passover as a commemoration of their liberation by G-d from slavery in ancient Egypt and their freedom as a nation under the leadership of Moses.
This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord—a lasting ordinance… Exodus 12:14
To all my friends celebrating this time of remembrance of liberation and freedom I say Shalom and may G-d be with you as you come together in family and faith. Grace and love to you all.
Six Years Ago, One Door Closed

Six years ago I was spending my last moments at Lifetouch as they were closing the former Olan Mills Chattanooga offices and operation. I had almost eight years there. When one door closes another one opens eventually. It took me two years to land at Blood Assurance and it’s been a good ride so far. The lesson in all this is patience will be rewarded and be grateful for what you have in the moment.
Good Friday Remembered, Jesus Came To Make The World Better #goodfriday

Today is Good Friday, the Friday before Easter Sunday, on which the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ is commemorated in the Christian Church. It is traditionally a day of fasting and penance.
On this day I am remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for humanity. One embraced by many. To give ones life for the cause of love is a noble one. Today I remember that act. Jesus did so much in a short amount of time that made people whole and brought people together. He was a carpenter so he built community and offered justice to the oppressed. To those who followed him he gave them a life of opportunity to do amazing things. May all of us find ways to emulate the works Jesus in our own way.
Serve One Another, A Foot Washing

Tonight was the Maundy Thursday service at church and it involves a foot washing. Jesus washed the feet of his disciples as a act of service and love. A foot washing is a very intimate and very special part of sharing the love for others. Feet do a lot for us and we have to care for them symbolically and in a practical way.
There Is Enough
I believe in creation that has more than enough to provide for every man, woman and child. The world has a problem with greed and that is a problem. Our world has been blessed enough for everyone to have their fair share. God or your higher power has made a place for all to enjoy the blessings of this planet we live on. No one should ever be denied a spot at the really large table that has all of humanity past, present and future. It’s at that table that we are to find peace, love and grace in abundance. I think everyone should be included and to say otherwise is not right. To take what could be someone else’s share is not right. My friends share and share alike so we are all blessed with some instead of none.
