All posts by Tony Burgess

Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!

Rambling About Inclusion

It always feels good to be included in stuff. People like belonging to something greater than themselves. Being invited is also a way of feeling accepted. There should always be room for one more at the table.

The Weekend Is Here!

To my Jewish friends and others celebrating I pray for the peace of God to be with you during this celebration. May your Seder and other observances be filled with a remembrance, reflection and love.

Take care of our Mother Earth and it will take care of us. Recycle, reuse, replenish, restore. Being green is a good thing for everyone.

Rambling About Generational Superstars

When your generations superstars begin to pass into eternity you begin to think about your own mortality. We are here for a time on this place called Earth and we must make the most of it. The music of our times is the soundtrack of our lives and it is the artist, the freak, the geek, the eccentric that creates that sound. I am grateful to every person who dared to dream and to make the world a better place. We can be heroes if we dare to go crazy.
