Trying too hard

At times in my life I’ve tried to be cool, fun, hip. My friends I’m really none of those. Some folks try too hard to be something they are not. People struggling for acceptance have issues with self esteem and that means they will do whatever to be relatable and one of the crowd.

How many of us have tried to be one of the crowd, at a cost. I have done much of what I’ve talked about above however I have learned that being yourself, whoever that might be is always the best.

We ordered pizza tonight, with meatballs and mushrooms. Yummy.

Today is Monday and it feels like it. It’s going to be one of those days, I can tell. Powering through is the order of the day. I hope it gets better as it goes along. Let’s see what happens. I think caffeine is going to be my friend. Have the best day possible good people.

We Were Here Four Weeks Ago

We touched down for our vacation four weeks ago at Orlando Sanford Airport. It’s hard to believe its been that long ago. This was an amazing time.

The Blessing of The Animals at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church

This afternoon at church the annual Blessing of The Animals took place in honor of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. We took our dog Cody and he met other dogs and their people of the church. It was a great event and we all had fun and Cody was blessed and scored a few treats along the way. Fr. Rob did a great service with some help from the congregation assembled.
