Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!
To my friends and all the wonderful people of Canada I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. May this also be a mindful time of recognizing those in the First Nations community who are seeking truth and reconciliation. May all Canadians have access to justice and prosperity. Have a good day, eh.
It finally got cool enough for me to put on long sleeves today. Fall should be cool and wet when the Earth needs it. I am hoping this is a trend that leads into Winter. Now some wear long sleeves because they have really cold workplaces or perhaps they need to cover their arms for various reasons. I am very glad the colder weather is here.
I got to upgrade my phone today. I am getting a Google Pixel 7a. I am kinda budget-minded, and this phone does a lot for not a lot of money. You can say I am Team Pixel all the way, and I am looking forward to getting my new phone. If you are in the States check out Google Fi. It’s a great mobile phone service if you are looking for something new and affordable.
Fresh air is good for everyone, it’s also a metaphor. Everyone including me needs it to keep cool and refresh the mind. Also it’s something the senses needs.
