Happy Friday and New Taylor Swift Album Day

Hello there friends, It’s Friday. It’s also new Taylor Swift music day. Anytime you can combine two good things together, it’s a total win. From what I understand, this is another solid collection of recordings. Enjoy Friday, enjoy Taylor if you wish. Make it a great day, everyone, and that includes the Swifties out there.

Thought Of The Day 10022025

I found this on Facebook and the sentiments are on point. This year feels like surgery while being awake. In my mind, the surgery is brain surgery or something like that. Everything is super painful, and it’s scaring the hell out of you, and the end is not in sight.

Happy Anniversary All Elite Wrestling’s “Dynamite” TV Show

My favorite professional wrestling league, All Elite Wrestling, celebrates its flagship TV show’s sixth anniversary tonight. AEW Dynamite has been destination TV for me for the last six years, and tonight is going to be a big time show. The above is the card of matches for tonight, and I am sure there will be a few surprises thrown in.

I am most looking forward to the mixed tornado tag-team match with Women’s world champion Kris Statlander with Darby Allin facing The Death Rider’s Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir. Also the return of Jurassic Express is going to be fun.

Let’s see what happens tonight at 8 PM / 7 PM Central.

Hello There, October 2025

October, is in my mind when Fall/Autumn gets serious. The leaves change color, there are all sorts of fun and cozy stuff happening. Halloween gives us that spooky vibe. In Canada, families gather for Thanksgiving. Fall festivals are a plenty. My friends, have a great month. Let’s hope it’s good to all of us.

Truth And Reconciliation Day In Canada

On September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, people across Canada learn, recognize and reflect upon the history and ongoing legacy of residential schools, the trauma experienced by many, and the hope for a healthy future.

I am not Canadian, but this observance highlights the past treatment of indigenous/first nations peoples there and in the USA. Native peoples have generational trauma and so much more. Telling the truth in hopes of reconciliation is important.

Cheap Dollar Store Eats

Everyone is trying to stretch their food dollar. We went to the Dollar Tree store after work and I challenged myself to make a meal from ingredients I found there.

So I found some ham, stir-fry veggies, rice, and some teriyaki sauce, so I did a ham stir-fry.

So I put in the veggies, ham, a scrambled egg and rice and after a few minutes of cooking it turned out alright. I should have added more fat and some garlic and pepper. Otherwise, it was a decent first attempt. All total, it was just over $9 to make for two people. I will try it again sometime.
