Vintage Christmas Toy Series #7

We recognize these toys. Star Wars toys have been around since the 1970s and I had some just like these. I also had an X-Wing Fighter, Millennium Falcon, and a Tie Fighter among other things.

Hey Friends, It’s Ten Days Until #Christmas

There are just 10 days until Christmas. Santa will be on his way before you know it. Be sure you are on the nice list.

Six Word Story

Science and democracy win the day.

Let’s Get It Started This Monday

Happy Holidays Because It’s More Than Just Christmas

Just as a reminder there is more than one holiday being celebrated this time of year. Happy Holidays to all observing their cultural, religious and other celebrations.

Sunday Reflection: Pointing To Good News

Good news is hard to come by these days. So when you see it, you have to just need to take it and be grateful for something going right for a change. I think it takes people to point to that good news so that we can be blessed by it because we need it so much.

Whether it be a person on the street or a journalist or a good friend we need to pay attention to those who want to share good tidings of comfort and joy (like the Christmas reference there).  Whether that source of goodness comes from acts of kindness, the divine, or a good samaritan we need to be inspired to act ourselves in doing things that make the world better.

Start spreading the news that can lift others up and make your existence easier to deal with. Point to the good and maybe others who are doing good will point back to you.
