There’s much sadness in the world. From war, to cancer, to economic uncertainty, to layoffs, deaths, and so much more. The sadness we all face daily should be a rallying cry to come together. It’s strange in how most of what we are experiencing is a battle of the heart and soul in everyone, and how it manifests in suffering. Things are tough, and personally, I am hoping that God will be in all the moments of our day. Mercy for all.

Being Human Is Hard, Mistakes Will Be Made
There are times when I feel that I can’t say or do anything right. It’s like I am just a bother to those around me. I hope I am a good person, but there are many occasions when I feel like I am not. Hurting people is something I never want to do. Do you ever feel like this? A change is probably needed. Being human is very hard and mistakes will be made. Should I give myself a break?
Wow! Nineteen Years With WordPress
I missed this notification yesterday that I have been with WordPress.com for nineteen years. The old saying is very true, time flies when you are blogging. I am grateful for the staff and crew behind WordPress and for everyone who has followed me over the years. Here’s to many more years of posting and connecting. Happy blogiversary to me! Blood Donation Friday

It’s been awhile since my last blood donation. So, since I’m back in the old work neighborhood I thought I would go ahead and make a blood donation today. It’s not as convenient to do it in the new work neighborhood. Donate blood and save lives.

Some Team Recognition At Work

Today at work we had a luncheon that was also a team meeting. We had some good discussions and each of us was recognized for our unique contribution to our department. This is my certificate for being the King of Advice because I’ve been around for 11 years and have some knowledge gained from experience. This was a great gesture from my bosses.
