Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!

Status Update

It’s another day to do things and stuff. Have a good day good people.

Somehow Prophetic

I created this Bitstrip on March 18th, 2018. Somehow it feels a little prophetic or perhaps appropriate for what many are going through in various places and spaces. I am not liking reality at the moment. It isn’t fun for so many.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day From Me And Blood Assurance

It is St. Patrick’s Day and I am wearing the traditional green as one does. The shirt I am wearing is from Blood Assurance the blood bank I work for as a gift to our blood donors. I know for sure I won’t get pinched today. May the luck of the Irish be with you today and of course get into good shenanigans like donating blood.

Adam Sandler Movie Mini-Marathon

We had a rough week last week with a family member in the hospital. Today after church we settled into an Adam Sandler mini-movie marathon featuring The Wedding Singer and Happy Gilmore. Both are great films that can make you laugh, one is about weddings and love and the other is about golf and love. Both movies are great for a Sunday afternoon of doing nothing but laughing (and a nap somewhere in-between).
