Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!

Lest We Forget, Remembrance Day #remembranceday #veteransday

Remembering the end of World War I 100 years ago on this Remembrance Day. May peace be the rule for the rest of our lives. Thanks to all who served in The Great War and all others.

Veterans Day 2018

These are my two favorite Veterans. My dad who served in the United States Air Force and my granddad who served in the United States Navy. I thank them both for their sacrifice and service. There is something noble about putting on a uniform to serve your country, no matter where you live in the world.

(Please do not reblog, thank you)
