My biography title would be called “Dork Mode; The Life and Times of Tony Burgess” and it would be the most boring thing anyone would read. Really it would be dull.

A Dream Home
I have a comfortable house, and the mortgage payments are reasonable. I think I am OK there.
What I would most like to see is for others who need a safe place to live and to have their own roof over their heads. Homelessness and affordable housing is a problem everywhere. In the 21st century, no one should be without a proper dwelling. Housing should be something basic everyone should be able to have access to. To me, that would be a dream home or just dreaming of a home.

My Higher Education Adventure
I started my college journey at Chattanooga State Technical Community College in 1988. I flunked out. In 1990, I got a second chance at Hiwasseee College, where I graduated with an Associate in Arts Degree. From there, I went to Lincoln Memorial University for one semester. I discovered I wasn’t happy there and transferred to Middle Tennessee State University (a school I never thought I would find myself at) where I graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and minors in Sociology and Political Science.
Describe A Man, Well Two Men
I am going to say two men. My father and grandfather were great people who influenced me to be who I am. Without them, I can say I wouldn’t be the geek/nerd that I am. They taught me to be a sensitive, caring, and loving man in my own way. I can say I will miss them this holiday season as they are no longer with me. They are still with me in my heart and soul.
What I Hope People Say
My hope is that people say kind things about me if I have earned it. I would hope people would say that I am a good person although I am very human and I do make mistakes.
