I am not a doomsday sort of guy but with Yahoo making significant changes to Tumblr I want to be ready for the future. My “shadow” blog will be at WordPress where there seems to be a cr…
My WordPress Blogging Anniversary…One year ago I started experimenting with WordPress because I felt like the corporate instability of Yahoo would impact it’s Tumblr blogging division where I was blogging for a long time. The more I blogged here the more I liked it. I found there were some incredibly creative, thoughtful and unique people doing some great things here. I had previously blogged here but nothing serious. So this is my first anniversary blogging here full time as my primary blog. I am thankful for you all for making this a great place to be and welcoming me warmly. Keep on blogging good people.
While on vacation I will be taking a Facebook fast because it gives me stress and I don’t want that while I am trying to relax and get away from stuff. Don’t worry my friends I will be blogging and Tweeting so you can see what we are up to in Orlando. I will be signing off Facebook on all platforms sometime this evening and will sign back on sometime on Thursday. Thanks for being great followers and making my experience here a great one.
Happy weekend good people. For me it’s a very long weekend because I’m on vacation. I hope all of us will have a blast. What are you up to for the next couple of days.
Yes, it’s vacation time and I am so, so glad. It’s time to rest, relax, and renew. I am headed out of town to a place I have been before. Sunday it’s wheels up and time for fun! More to come!
I find it sad when Atheists, Agnostics, people of other faiths and people in corporate America start reflecting the love of Christ more than people who profess to call him their Lord and Savior. Many people have been run off from the church because of fundamentalism and legalism. Some religious people just need to shut up and sit down. Old time American religion leaves a horrible taste in my mouth.
I am a follower of Christ in the Episcopal/Anglican tradition. Our faith and practice is ancient but also relevant. We seek a 3rd way that balances scripture, reason and tradition. I am glad to be a part of a community that believes with our hearts and heads and our lives.
