I think being good means giving grace to those who you don’t always like. It’s hard sometimes but it makes you an even better person for doing so. You might be the one person that can impact their lives for the better and everyone wins then. Now this doesn’t mean you let people walk over you, it just means offering some mercy that was once afforded you at one time in your life. Change sometimes comes from kindness shown.

Tony’s Holiday Meatballs. A Tasty and Easy Holiday Crowd Pleaser
I make these meatballs during the holidays for work and other places. This recipe is a crowd pleaser from what I have been told. Make it for your holiday party.
Every year during the holidays I do meatballs for gatherings of family, friends and work. There is nothing incredibly gourmet about them but they are easy to prepare and they can feed a crowd.

The ingredients are fairly simple.
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 Bottle of Bottled Barbecue Sauce
- 1 Bag Fully Cooked Italian-style meatballs

In a slow cooker put in meatballs (preferably frozen) and cover them with the soy sauce and barbecue sauce. Put the slow cooker on its highest setting for about an hour and a half, then reduce to low.
These meatballs will have a unique flavor with the soy and barbecue sauces along with the seasonings in the balls themselves.
If you have any questions let me know. Try this out for your holiday gatherings.

Daily Prompt: Maddening
What is truly maddening is having a goal and not being able to reach it. It’s also doing the same things over and over again and expecting something new to come of it. A dog chasing its tail to no avail. Driving through stop and go traffic when you are late to get to an appointment. Frustration over a situation you find yourselves kind of stuck in. Much of life is maddening it’s just the way it is.
Be The Peace, Share It Fully, Have Some Hope
Today a man was convicted in the murder of nine parishioners at a church in Charleston, South Carolina. Racism was a prime factor in these killings. He went into the church with a purpose to do evil things.
I am an optimistic idealist most times but situations like this scare me. We live in a world where hate and fear are supercharged by rhetoric and people who want to believe certain things are true when they are not.
Then you take a look at Syria in the city of Aleppo where rebels have been slaughtered by the government. Pictures coming out of that war-torn place have been heart wrenching. How can people do that to their own countrymen and children.
Our world needs hope, healing and peace. A return to faith and community are so needed right now. If people are truly for life then we need to stop the violence locally and globally. As John Lennon once said, give peace a chance. In this season of love, new life and hope we need to come together. Let’s do what we can as bloggers to make ti happen.
