Fifteen states and a U.S. territory hold their 2024 nominating contests on Super Tuesday this year. We went to the polls after work and voted on the Democratic ballot. Federal, state, and local races were on the ballot in many places. I couldn’t stomach voting for any Republican in their primary this year. They aren’t worth it. Maybe one day they will be redeemed. Democracy is important and always matters.
It appears Facebook is having some problems today. The glitch is affecting Instagram and Threads too. MySpace here’s your opening.
Hey there good people I am back after a couple days off from posting. I will be posting more throughout the week. Life is OK at the moment and that is good enough for many of us. Love and peace to you all.
I am tired of Christianity being used by the right to harm others and use the teachings of Jesus as a weapon which he would disapprove of. The Christianity I believe in is about love, service, kindness, and making people whole again. I am so sorry it’s used to harm. As a believer, I apologize for the damage it’s done to anyone. I will do my part to make it humble and just again.
It’s the first of March and it’s raining here today. I hope it’s not a harbinger of things to come. Let’s try to have a great day or something like that.
In April I will have been working at Blood Assurance, a regional blood bank for 10 years. There are days when it seems to go well and other days it’s like pulling teeth. It’s my goal to do good things to help save lives. It always depends on people willing to help out when I reach out to them to donate blood. The struggle can be real. Somedays I do enjoy it but it depends on my attitude and that counts for a lot I think.
