It’s human to feel blue. Hopefully the feeling will be there for a moment and not trend like something on Twitter. I can tell you that this sort of thing isn’t fun but not everything in life is supposed to be fun. Like anything you just have to get through it.

This was my first week back in the office since the pandemic changed our world. I admit I was sad to leave the confines of my home office but like a professional, I did what was asked of me.

In case you do not know what, I do, I work for a regional blood bank calling donors to schedule them to donate blood. It was a very productive week and I over-performed which was a help to my co-workers and the organization.

As Star Trek’s Mr. Spock would say “Logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few”. So, my being back in the office is logical and helpful, I think.

So, as I look ahead to week two back in the office, I hope I will continue to settle in and do my best. I hope for good things to come being back in the office. Attitude can be everything.
