Today is the first day of the Fall season but it doesn’t feel like it with temperatures in the upper 80’s where I live. We are all hoping for cooler, seasonal weather here soon.

Where did the weekend go? Seriously. Poof. Friday was like just 9 minutes ago. Oh well.

My blog, WordPress and Twitter helps me keep up with stuff so I can sound informed and relevant. It’s nice to be on top of things when one is 50. Of course there are some things that I don’t get and probably never will but I try.

Five years ago my grandmother Polly passed away. She’s a great woman who took on a lot of responsibility at a young age when her own father, my great-grandfather passed away. Along with my grandfather they raised 3 great kids and she helped raise her grandchildren. Without her I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I miss her every day and am comforted she is one of the saints and angels who greeted my dad when he went to heaven. Grandmom I love you very much and your presence is felt always.
