Humanity is needed more than ever.
Six Word Story
Humanity is needed more than ever.
Humanity is needed more than ever.
Due to family concerns this past month a lot of things planned for August were cancelled or postponed including my 50th birthday party.
This morning I was very surprised when my Christian Formation class at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church threw me a birthday party. I was so not expecting it and I was humbled and grateful. We had a decadent chocolate cake which was quite tasty. This is what it means to be the church when people are hurting and when things get tough you show them love and that sometimes comes in cakes and candles and coffee.
I thank everyone who was involved with this. I was very touched.
Sympathy and empathy are needed more.
Blogging is about telling your stories and what goes on in your world. I appreciate that connection and making new friends with people from all over the world. Blogging to me is a second religion and one I am blessed to be a part of. Thanks for taking me to your neighborhood and to the places of your souls that make you unique.

It’s still hard to believe dad you are gone. Two weeks ago you left this world to commune with the Saints and Angels. I miss you every day. You are my greatest hero.

Welcome to the weekend. Enjoy whatever you have planned or try to at least. Let’s make it a great one.
